A battery is made up of a Positive terminal (+) and a Negative(-) terminal. The battery is made up of 6cell portions each containing a 2-2.75volt Cell. This makes the battery a 12Volts battery. A battery cell is made up of two types of plates, namely; Negative plates and Positive plates. These plates are highly reactive and are separated by a separator. Mainly the positive plates are inserted into the separators while the negative plates which are more reactive, are kept in the electrolyte called Sulphuric Acid. Sulphuric Acid is the Electrolyte used in all Batteries. The electrolyte is made-up of either 60% or 70% Acid and 40% or 30% water. This kind of electrolyte is known as MIXED ACID. The Acid should be mixed in order to allow free movement of the ions from the Anode to the Cathode. The Battery cells are arranged in a series format. This makes the current to move from the Positive...
